Tombli Privacy Policy

The Short Version

Tombli collects zero data. No personal information. No analytics. No tracking. No internet connection required to play. On the App Store, Tombli's privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”

About Tombli

Tombli is a sensory app designed for children ages 0–5, published by Level‑K Games, LLC (“Level‑K”, “we”, “us”). It is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad (listed under Family — Made for Ages 0–5, Apple's Kids Category) and on Google Play (a Designed for Families app). The same policy applies on both platforms.

Data Collection

Tombli does not collect, store, transmit, or share any data about you or your child. This includes:

• No personal information — no names, emails, accounts, or sign-in
• No usage analytics, crash reporting services, or advertising identifiers
• No location, contacts, photos, or media
• No camera access or device identifiers
• No audio — the optional sound visualizer listens on-device only and never records or transmits

Internet Connection

Tombli works completely offline for all gameplay features — airplane mode is fine. The app itself contains no networking code. The only time the network is used is when a grown-up chooses the optional one-time unlock, and that screen belongs to the store (Apple's App Store on iPhone and iPad, Google Play on Android), not to Tombli.

On-Device Storage

Tombli keeps a small amount of information locally on your device so it can remember your choices:

• • Settings: Your grown-up preferences: which effects and backgrounds are enabled, quiet hours, hush mode, haptics, and whether the child menu is on
• • Progress: Which effects and variations have been played, so Tombli can vary what it offers
• • Purchase status: Whether the one-time unlock has been bought (re-checked with the store on launch)
• • Unexpected-close notes: A short local list of app-lifecycle moments (launch, pause, resume, quit) used only to help diagnose a crash on that device. It contains no personal or device identifiers. The app shows you the count in Grown-ups → About; we never receive it

This information:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not shared with anyone — the app contains no networking code at all
• Is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app

Advertising

Tombli contains no advertising. There are no ads, no ad SDKs, and no ad-related tracking of any kind.

In-App Purchase

Tombli is free to download with core features available at no cost. An optional one-time unlock opens every effect, every background, and the sound visualizer. There is no subscription.

The purchase is processed entirely by the platform — Apple (StoreKit) on iPhone and iPad, or Google Play Billing on Android. Tombli never sees, collects, or stores any payment information; it only learns that the unlock succeeded. A previous purchase can be restored on a new device from Grown‑ups → Tombli Pro. The purchase screen, like every outside link, sits behind the grown-ups reading gate.

Third-Party Services

Tombli integrates no third-party services, analytics, or advertising SDKs. The only outside parties involved are the stores that distribute the app and process the optional purchase.

App Permissions

Tombli requests minimal permissions:

• Microphone (both platforms): Optional, and only for the sound visualizer. It is off by default, and the permission is asked for only when a grown-up switches the visualizer on. Audio is analysed on the device in real time and is never recorded, saved, or transmitted. Decline it and everything else still works.
• Android only — billing & internet: Declared so Google Play can process the optional one-time unlock. Nothing else uses them.

Tombli does not request access to: camera, location, contacts, photos, storage, phone, notifications, or any other sensitive permission.

Outside Links

The app can open exactly two web pages, both only from the grown-ups area behind the reading gate: its own store listing (to leave a rating) and this privacy policy. Neither sends any information about you.

Children's Privacy

Tombli is designed specifically for children under 5 and is built to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the children's rules of both app stores. Since we collect no data, there is no data to protect — the safest approach possible. Every purchase and every outside link is protected by a grown-ups-only reading challenge.

Data Sharing, Retention & Deletion

Not applicable. Because we collect and transmit no data, there is nothing to share, sell, rent, or retain — and no servers holding anything to delete. The on-device information described above is deleted automatically when you uninstall the app.

Parents' Rights & Control

• •No account required: no sign-up, login, or account creation of any kind.
• •No data to review or delete: we collect no information and have no servers.
• •Complete removal: uninstalling the app removes everything it kept on the device.
• •You decide what's available: effects, backgrounds, the child menu and the microphone are all grown-up choices behind the reading gate.

Security

Because Tombli collects and transmits no data, there is no data in transit or on servers to protect. The small amount of on-device information lives in the app's own storage, which iOS and Android each keep isolated from other apps.

Changes to This Policy

If Tombli ever changes in ways that affect privacy, we will update this policy with a new effective date, update both store listings, require agreement before any new online feature, and obtain verifiable parental consent if we ever collect personal information from children. We will never silently add data collection.

Your Legal Rights

EU/EEA (GDPR) and California (CCPA) residents: because Tombli collects no personal information, there is no data to access, delete, or object to, and nothing is sold or shared. The App Store and Google Play may handle device, installation, and payment information as part of download and purchase — managed by Apple or Google, not Level‑K Games (see their policies above).
